Have you ever wondered what's really inside your lip gloss, foundation or skincare products..?

Most people do not know how to read the ingredient list since it is packed with complicated and long chemical terms such as... Polyglyceryl-6 Polyricinoleate or even Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate!!! Haha!

However, not all ingredients' names are long and complicated. Also, you don't need to know or memorize all the long chemical terms. You only need to know few important stuffs.

So what's the point of this article?

Well, I'll be straightfoward. There are so many harmful chemicals in your makeup and skincare products. Therefore, you should know the effects of dangerous chemicals to not only to your skin but to your whole body.

Here is one example.

You must have heard of parabens, right? For thosewhohaven't heard, parabens are most widely used preservatives. They are in your foundation, shampoo, lip gloss and even your toothpaste!

If you don't believe it, just look at the ingredient list at any of your makeup or skincare products!

So why parabens are dangerous? They disrupt hormones...!AND they were found at breast cancer tumors. So they are potentially dangerous to your health.

I think this is enough to talk about the perils of many harmful chemicals such as parabens in your makeup/skincare products.

There are much more dangerous chemicals to tell you but I'll leave it as your own homework to make you more conscious of chemicals..
